EMBOSSING

The process of hot or cold stamping through cylinders with pins that create embossed applications such as, for example, anti-skid for large or heavy bags such as construction bags, pellets, or paints. Also used to create small geometric designs.

The EM100 unit is designed specifically for cold embossing. It is capable of working in both high-density and low-density situations, even at high speeds. For films of simple widths, we propose the EM10.

Hot embossing is handled by adapting our micro hot perforators.

EM100 EMBOSSING MACHINERY

LA EM100 is a motorized unit for embossing plastic film in motion. It is designed to handle heavy materials such as LDPE,HDPE, paper and non-stretchable films.

It consists of a perforating assembly composed of a shaft on which the embossing cylinders are mounted and a rubber contrast roller. The latter brings the moving material into contact with the needle shaft. The drive system consists of a driver, servo motor and encoder, making it possible to synchronize the speed of rotation of the shaft to that of the material up to a maximum speed of 300 meters per minute, thus perfectly capable of supporting all the speeds on the market.

The drilling process is activated by pneumatic cylinders that move the support roller in contact with the drill shaft. An integrated penetration adjustment system adjusts the depth with which the needles penetrate the material, allowing the level of embossing penetration to be controlled. Different densities are available according to various needs and applications. The EM100 guarantees an excellent result even at low densities. The main applications of embossing involve non-slip systems for bags, to increase grip, and to engrave custom logos and imprints (embossed designs).
