COLD MICRO-PERFORATORS

Cold microperforation is a technology initially designes around the 60s. It enables results with great cost-effective value. It can be used on a wide range of materials. Standard models operate through towing force from hostning machine/line, which is when the movement of material on a machine or line drives the rotation, thus the perforation. Upon more delicate or specific applications, the unit is motorized to convey and synchronize the rotation of the needle shaft (servo driven).

HOT MICRO-PERFORATORS

Among hot needle perforation, each hole is the result of fusion caused by a hot needle. Itt is used the same use of interchangeable/modular needle cylinders on a main shaft. However, a heat system is managed and maintained within an insulated volume. Hot micro perforation enabled the perforation of mono or bi-oriented films. This technology has been developed around the 70s.

Microperforation is not always straightforward and easy to handle, especially hot microperforation, which is why we offer support, advice, and technical assistance for our clients and anyone in need of such services. Be aware of cheap imitations and newly born companies attempting to offer the same high performances our solutions have.

COLD MICRO-PERFORATION

MICRO-PERFORATOR TBI10

The classic cold micro-perforating unit; formerly Miatex MF85. Our TBI10 is a cost-effective solution that allows processing most materials. Simple to install and use, and excellent value for money ratio. It can be used with our classic bronze cylinders as well as PVC, aluminum or steel ones. Also adaptable as a cold cutting and embossing unit.

The only one left with the natural aesthetics of stainless steel.

The MF85, now TBI10, is the classic unit created by Miatex. A simple and effective solution for most common perforations.

The unit has a perforating shaft, on which needle cylinders are mounted, and a counter roller usually made of rubber or natural fiber, depending on the material or production requirement. This counter roll brings the moving film material in contact with the needle shaft.

It is a simple but highly effective system that offers excellent cost-effectiveness and can cope with perforations of a variety of material types while guaranteeing precise and homogeneous perforations. A built-in penetration adjustment system contorls he depth of needles penetrating the material, thus allowing the diameter of the holes to be controlled, and changed to an extent.

The TBI10 is a unit compatible with any production line.

COLD MICRO-PERFORATION

MICRO-PERFORATOR TBI100

The TBI100 micro-perforator is a professional solution for processing moving films. Former Miatex MF124, it has the same ease of use and installation as entry level TBI10, though improving efficiency, accuracy and production speed. Towed perforation. It ensures homogeneous holes and is suitable for a wide range of applications. Also adaptable as a cold cutting and embossing unit.

The TBI100 micro perforator belongs to the family of cold units. It has a shaft on which needle cylinders are mounted and a counter roller, usually made with rubber or natural fiber, depending on the material or production requirement. This counter roll brings the moving material in contact with the needle shaft.

It is a simple yet highly effective system that offers good cost-effectiveness and can cope with perforations of a vast variety of materials while guaranteeing precise and homogeneous perforations, even with the most difficult materials or with very high perforating densities. A built-in penetration adjustment system guides the depth of the needles penetrating the material, thus allowing the diameter of the holes to be controlled, and changed to an extent.

The TBI 100 is a unit compatible with any production line.

COLD MICRO-PERFORATION

MICRO PERFORATOR TBI100 MVS

Former miatex MF124 MOT, today called TBI100MVS microperforator is the motorized (servo driven) solution for more hostile materials such as paper, aluminum or stretch film. It is also used for fast or very high quality production needs, high speeds, project-specific industries. The motorized system allows perforation of thicker materials or where high-density perforations are needed, such as 50 or more needles/cm2 while keeping high speed productions.

The TBI100MVS microperforator is our motorized option. Following the same concept and design of all our historical units but servo driven, with electronic speed management that synchronizes with the host machine, or production line, speed. It has the usual perforating shaft with the needle cylinders, and a counter roller (rubber or natural fiber). This counter roll brings the moving material in contact with the needle shaft.

The drive system has a servo engine and encoder, making it possible to synchronize the rotating speed of the perforating shaft to that of the material up to a potential speed of about 300 meters per minute. Speed synchronization ensures high accuracy of hole diameter and hole uniformity with both low and high needle densities.

The perforating process is activated by pneumatic cylinders that move the counter roll in contact with the perforating shaft. A built-in penetration adjustment system is used to refine the depth between needles penetration and material, thus allowing the diameter of the holes to be controlled, and changed.

MICRO-PERFORATOR ZP10

The ZP10 microperforator provides an effective solution to process (perforation and embossing) general or non-standard sheet-size materials. In addition to classic PE, PP, PU or paper, it is specifically designed for aluminum, wood, microfiber or materials such as eco-skins. Optional hot version. Also for areas such acoustics and interior decoration.

The ZP10 is a micro perforation and embossing unit suitable for all types of materials. The special feature is that it can process sheets of material and is designed as a stand-alone and offline unit.

The ZP10 has a “feeder” used as an entry for the sheets that operators handle to be processed. Sheets are then grabbed into the machine by a motorized system and a special dedicated sensor.

An integrated penetration adjustment system reguates the depth between needles and material.

Once the microperforation process is completed, the sheets are automatically collected, sliding on a special surface. Standard material widths are 600, 1200 and 1400 mm.

MICRO-PERFORATOR EASY CHANGE 60

The Easy Change 60 is designed to work as a host unit for microperforation on moving films (Unwinder/Rewinder, slitters, extruders, printing machines and more). It is suitable for any kind of material such as Paper, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ETFE, PP, CAST, PVC and aluminum.

Its main feature is the interchangeable 4-shaft system, even during production!

The Easy Change 60 is a cold microperforating unit designed to carry on different types of perforations (different densities or types for example). It is equipped with up to 4 shafts and allows quick and easy change of shafts, adapting to different perforating needs and patterns. Greatest advantage being able to change perforation type without stopping production. This makes it ideal to work on extrusion lines. Shafts are changed through a revolver structure.

In addition, needle, embossing or cut cylinders can be used, creting an incredible versitile set of processes.

The operating speed reaches about 175meters/minute. The perforating process is activated by pneumatic cylinders moving the contrast roller in contact with the perforating shaft. A built-in penetration adjustment system guides setting the depth of needles penetration with material, thus allowing the diameter of the holes to be controlled, and changed to an extent.

HOT MICRO-PERFORATORS

MICRO-PERFORATOR H100

The Microperforator H100, formerly Thermoperf, is the entry level in LaserPin‘s range of hot micro perforators. Most requested though as it guarantees micro holes on any type of film material. A great cost-effective solution that can operate at an ideal maximum speed of about 175meters/min. It is especially recommended for low-density or delicate perforations. Good value for money.

The H100 micro perforator is the “entry level” model in LaserPin‘s range of hot microperforators. It consists of a drilling assembly composed of a heating system, a drill shaft, and a counter roller, usually with natural fiber coating. The latter brings the moving material into contact with the needle shaft.

The Heating System consists of sets of infrared irradiators with homogeneous powere and segmented power supply over three sectors with PID government, ensuring a uniform and constant temperature along the entire material band. This temperature uniformity is managed by the touch screen PLC control system that ensures optimal production management.

It is ideal for drilling both monofilm and bio-oriented film. The micro-driller has a rigid steel structure, and all its mechanical components are structured to operate at high temperatures, with an insulated chamber containing the drilling unit. The drive system consists of a driver, servo motor and encoder, making it possible to synchronize the rotational speed of the drill shaft to that of the material up to a maximum speed of 175meters per minute. Speed synchronization ensures high hole diameter accuracy and processing uniformity, especially in the case of low-density needle drilling. Speed and temperature settings are controlled through an innovative touchscreen control panel. Optional: the machine can be equipped with a laser sensor to stop in case of material breakage.

The H150 microdrill, formerly STAR1, is a dynamic model in the hot drill range. It guarantees perfect micro holes on any type of film. It can operate at an ideal maximum speed of 225 meters/min with a balanced level of overall consumption. It is recommended for drilling of a more industrial nature or for specific materials.

The H150 micro perforator is a dynamic model in LaserPin‘s range of hot microperforators. It is designed with the same features as H100.

It is ideal for drilling and major production. Same rigid, steel construction with all mechanical components structured to operate at high temperatures.

Also equipped with protective covers and complete with encoder and photocells for material breakage.

Speed and temperature settings are controlled via an innovative touchscreen control panel. Optional: the machine can be equipped with a laser sensor to stop in case of material breakage.

The H200 microperforator is the top model in LaserPin‘s range of hot microperforators. Ex STAR2.

The unit is designed to handle large quantities of materials and massive productions. Can operate at speeds exceeding 250 meters per minute! Ideal for both low- and high-density drilling of any material.

The H200 microperforator is LaserPin‘s top of the line. It is designed to handle large amounts of material and production at high speeds.

It retains the same concept of Miatex/LaserPin micro-drilling technology but proportioned in its structure and potential for the higher needs demanded by the market.
