PRE-CUTTING CROSS

“Pre-cutting” is a materials processing used, for example, to create tear-off facilitated opening systems. Very common for products such as bags, toilet paper or paper rolls used in cooking or cleaning.

We have designed machinery that can be easily integrated on production lines or machines such as rewinders-cutters that can process any type of material with an advanced toothed blade system. Electronically managed units with touch screen PLC to customize production.

Our standard units PC10 and PC100 but with possibility of larger sizes and solution with more options, PC200, on request.

PRE-CUT PC10

PC10 is an opsite unit designed for transverse tear perforation of plastic film on moving web.

The PC10 is a host unit created to create a pre-cut cross-cut on moving plastic films. Designed to work on partially stretchable films such as HDPE, MDPE ,LDPE and nonwoven fabric, it is ideal for creating solid and efficient pre-cuts. It is a solution for creating micro-cuts with blades to facilitate the opening of plastic material or paper (easy opening, baking paper, toilet paper).

Operation is by 2 rotating bars that through their synchronization, managed and customized by PLC electronics, cut the material. One or two lines of blades are usually installed on the main bar, while the second bar acts as a support for the material as it is being cut. The movement of the bars is controlled by an electronic control system including encoder and photocell: thus the distance between drill lines can be set and controlled. A touch screen system makes it easy to set all parameters.

The machine works on films with a maximum width of 2400mm and a maximum thickness of 800µ. The maximum operating speed is 120 meters per minute with a minimum distance of 300mm, adjustable from the control system.

PRE-CUT PC100

The Pc100 is a unit designed for pre-cutting plastic film and other moving materials. It is particularly suitable for BOPP, PVC paper and aluminum as well as other so-called “non-extensible” materials. It is also recommended for working on PE in case delicate cuts are needed.

Cross-cutting pre-cut technology is used to create micro-cuts with circular blades that facilitate the opening and tearing of material (facilitated opening to separate garbage bags, baking paper, and toilet paper/scottex). The machine operates with a shaft on which different types of blades can be mounted, depending on the processing required. The material is passed between the shaft and a contrast roller that supports the shaft and ensures high quality cuts.

PC100 is motorized controlled by an electronic system including encoder, measuring wheel and photocell. In this way the distance between drill lines can be set and controlled. A touch screen system makes it easy to set all parameters. The rotation speed of the blades is automatically adjusted by the eye-mark that reads the speed of the material. Thus a high quality of the cut, which is finer and smaller in size, is ensured while reducing stress on the material. The maximum useful width of the PC100 is 2400 mm and processes materials up to a maximum thickness of 800 microns. It has an operating capacity of 140 cuts per minute at a minimum adjustable distance of 150 mm.
