Laserpin designs and manufactures high-performance macroperforation units for the packaging, printing, agri-food and technical materials industries. Our macroperforators can create accurate perforations on plastic film, paper, agricultural and multilayer materials, with hole diameters ranging from Ø 1 mm to Ø 150 mm.

All units are available in modular and customizable versions, with advanced options such as dual head, openable structure, encoder, touchscreen panel, photocells and Industry 4.0-ready software.

They can be integrated into existing production lines or supplied with dedicated mounting frames and waste extraction systems.

MACROFORATOR SLP

The SLP is a U-shaped side structure designed to be installed as a side host unit to the running film. Agile, compact and versatile model with excellent value for money.

For drilling on moving material side at a distance from the film end that can vary up to a maximum of 300mm.

Almost any type of perforating body can be used to create circular, shaped or partially cut holes (butterfly holes) where the coriander (residue of perforated material) remains attached to the material.

Support structures with “grooves” ranging from 50 to 300 millimeters.

Operating speeds vary according to application but with a potential maximum of 300 meters/minute and is particularly useful in cases where only the ends of moving material need to be drilled, such as on bag production lines with handle holes or in succession of extruders.

LaserPin has developed 4 standard side unit models:

  • SLP50: for holes between 1 and 30mm in diameter;
  • SLP80: for holes of Ø between 1 and 50mm, for EUROSLOT or small shaped forms;
  • SLP120: for holes Ø between 1 to 50mm, although it is recommended for shaped holes, especially for EUROSLOT and HANDLE HOLE (bag handles);
  • HSLP: for large holes, Ø 60 to 100 mm. Suitable for agricultural applications.

MACROPERFORATOR LP

The LP unit is the basis of the LaserPin family of macro perforators. It is designed as a “bridge” capable of handling punctures across the entire material band. Ideal for both circular and shaped holes, it adapts to various requirements and is easily integrated into production lines or machines.

LP is the basic model of the LaserPin family of macroperforators. Designed to serve as an ancillary, complementary host unit on a production line with moving film, it ensures the making of high-quality holes on a wide range of materials and particularly on plastic film. LP can drill circular holes with diameters from 1 to 50 millimeters, shaped holes of different shapes and sizes, such as euroslots and handle holes. The unit is composed of quality, rigid metals with two beams through which the moving film slides and on which guides are installed. On them are installed the perforators that work with the running film.

The pneumatic descent of the punch punch is controlled by a specially designed solenoid valve and can reach an optimum maximum frequency of 35Hz, working on moving material up to about 300mt/min. The number of drill heads is variable and responds to customer specifications. The ability to move and align perforators along the material strip allows for high customization of the perforation pattern.

They are easy-to-install and highly versatile units with dedicated and independent electronics (base or touch screen), encoder and material mark reading photocell. This concept allows for individual adjustment of bore frequency and firing power and position.

MACROPERFORATOR HLP

The HLP unit is the dedicated model for agricultural applications; capable of handling drilling from larger diameters, such as 80, 100 or 150 millimeters. For example, for mulching films with higher thicknesses. Also suitable for multiple shaped holes or non-standard size handle.

It is excellence for the agricultural sector because of its power, strength and working flexibility.

The HLP model is the most powerful of the LaserPin macroperforators. Characterized by its robust construction, designed for machining on wide band materials, for large holes used especially for applications in agriculture, such as mulching.

Using the same macro-drilling concept, but with a structure proportioned to perform work with greater effort and vibration, the HLP also has the double and openable options. Although it works on more modest speeds, mainly due to non-obvious technical factors, it can follow a speed of 150mt/m.

It is always possible to use smaller diameter drill bodies together.
