The current ownership of LaserPin took over the historic Miatex company more than 10 years ago while maintaining the exact same operational headquarters in Cologno Monzese (Milan, Italy). Acquiring all the know-how and many of the Miatex employees, such as the current production manager.

Miatex, a company founded in 1949, has made history in micro-drilling and fibrillation (roping and textiles). It was among the first companies to design and manufacture mechanical units for processing different film materials worldwide. With new ownership and generational change, LaserPin has expanded its production range since the 2000s, also designing and manufacturing macro-punchers and remaining the point of reference for technical support and spare parts, facing, in addition, material processing with laser units.
